A church Christmas program spins hilariously out of control in this Southern farce about squabbling sisters, family secrets, a surly Santa, a vengeful sheep, and a reluctant Elvis impersonator. It’s Christmas time in the small town of Fayro, Texas, and the Futrelle Sisters—Frankie, Twink, and Honey Raye—are not exactly in a festive mood. A cranky Frankie is weeks overdue with her second set of twins. Twink, recently jilted and bitter about it, is in jail for inadvertently burning down half the town. And hot-flash-suffering Honey Raye is desperately trying to keep the Tabernacle of the Lamb’s Christmas Program from spiraling into chaos. But things are not looking too promising. Christmas Belles is a hilarious holiday journey through a misadventure-filled Christmas Eve that is guaranteed to bring joy to your world!

Charlotte’s Web tells the story of a livestock pig named Wilbur and his friendship with a barn spider named Charlotte. The most enchanting characters are here: Wilbur, the irresistible young pig who desperately wants to avoid the butcher; Fern, a girl who understands what animals say to each other; Templeton, the gluttonous rat who can occasionally be talked into a good deed; and, most of all, the extraordinary spider, Charlotte, who proves to be “a true friend and a good writer.” Determined to save Wilbur, Charlotte begins her campaign with the “miracle” of her web in which she writes, “Some pig.” This is a beautiful, knowing play about friendship that will give the audience an evening of enchantment.

By Edward Albee

Directed by Jacob White
Auditions: February 13 & 14, 2023; 1 man, 3 women
As an imperious, acerbic old woman lies dying, she is tended by two other women and visited by a young man. Albee’s frank dialogue about everything from incontinence to infidelity portrays aging without sentimentality. His scenes are charged with wit, pain, and laughter, and his observations tell us about forgiveness, reconciliation, and our own fates. Edward Albee has given theatergoers, critics, and students of drama reason to rejoice.
