Working in the Ticket Office
Community Theatre of Terre Haute runs on the energy and hospitality of volunteers, both on and off the stage. One of the most important parts of every performance is our ticket office team, who ensure that every audience member has a smooth, welcoming, and enjoyable experience from the moment they arrive.
If you enjoy greeting people, handling details, or simply being part of a lively show-night atmosphere, volunteering in the ticket office is a great way to get involved.
What Ticket Office Volunteers Do
Our ticket office volunteers help create a positive first impression for patrons attending performances and events. Duties may include:
Greeting guests and providing friendly, helpful service
Assisting with ticket sales and will call pickup
Answering patron questions about seating, accessibility, or upcoming shows
Handling cash or credit card transactions
Coordinating with ushers to ensure smooth operations

Basic computer or cash-handling skills
Reliability and attention to detail

Whether you can help once a season or at every performance, your time makes a big difference to our audience and the success of each show.
